NotSquare and Sally

"Lord, what fools these mortals be!"
-William Shakespeare

NotSquare & Sally, Wacky Antics' wacky siblings.

Ibis, Fleshfallen's buffoonish protector of all life.

Many stories have been told throughout the years, from tales of strong heroes defeating cruel tyrants to books about mad scientists creating life. But sometimes, it's nice to just let everything happen and not worry yourself with the supposed destiny of things, especially for these idiots. Will the Ibian secure his spot as the strongest being in the multiverse, or will the Incompetentians prove themselves as worthy adversaries? Let's find out, in this OC DEATH BATTLE.

Before we start...

Both of these series operate on a very loose canon, there isn't a very clear separation between canon and non-canon, so we will simply use everything at their disposal that isn't confirmed to be non-canon.

For Ibis, this is a bit more simple. We know all 365 entries of Daily Ibis are 100% canon as confirmed by Nerd22_2 and will be our primary source for information. We will also be using the few animated videos on the Nerd22_2 channel as well as additional drawings and statements by her, and a little surprise for later. Of course, we will be excluding all outdated information and only use stuff that we are 100% certain is no longer true for Ibis.

For NotSquare and Sally, it gets a bit, "messier". notsquare304 has declared that if it features NotSquare and Sally, it's canon, but that's a very broad statement. Does this mean outdated story statements are canon? Does this mean scrapped ideas are canon? Obviously not so we will be limiting to anything that comes from a more "modern" era for Wacky Antics. This would include all the comics, the animations, additional statements, the games made by notsquare304, and a little surprise for later.

Background

Ibis

"It's happening in 97 days!"

Far beyond the multiverses, there exists a realm beyond the normal bounds of space and time. This strange place was a simple, black void, being mostly empty besides it's population, the Begetters. These strange lifeforms didn't need food, they didn't need sleep, they didn't operate the same way as other species did. They simply laid in their dimension, motionless, for their slightest movement could mean the end of all things. However not all Begetters are born equally, some, are born as Watchers. The Watchers had feelings, they had emotions, and so they were always cast away, limited to only looking over the multiverse. But one of them wanted something more out of their life, and that Watcher, was Absence who grew a fondness for life, and had a fascination with Origin Ibis, who merged with the universe and created a small egg, from witch Ibis was born.

As a teen, Ibis was a total nerd, a real geek, and thus was often picked on at high school, especially by Knight, a guy who, much like Ibis, also wanted to be a hero. But this didn't demotivate him, Ibis spent his whole teenage years seeking to improve himself to be the best hero he could be.

As an adult, Ibis became a hero to many, but he didn't see himself that way, to him, he was just some guy who did what he wanted to do, but as it turns out, what he wanted to do was help others. He spent thousands of years doing hero work, he was unstoppable. Evil doers across the multiverse knew his name and feared it. He was at the top of his game, he got a girlfriend, three kids (Possibly 6, it's complicated), and the respect from everyone across the multiverse. Perhaps the secret to a good life, is just being a good person.

NotSquare & Sally

"Well I think it's cute, and my opinion is more valuable"

"You know Sally you're a real prick sometimes"

Let's travel back in time, to the far, far of year of 2001. What an year to be alive, the iPod was invented, the PC began to get more and more popular, tons of international conflicts occurred, but most important of all, on April 1st, NotSquare was born, and exactly 1 minute later Sally was born.

Born in the town of Namelessville (Which just so happens to be located in the continent/living mass/extra-dimensional concept of Wyoming) they were abandoned by their parents at a young age, forcing both of them to grow up as orphans. While they could've stayed at the orphanage, both of them weren't intelligent enough to think of that, hell they couldn't even read until they were 19. But I suppose that's how things go when you're forced to grow up at such a young age.

The two siblings have faced many challenges during their early twenties. From having to pay taxes, to going to jail, from stealing ancient artifacts to adopting an alien goo as a pet, they've done a ton of things, and all of that in just one year. But, as long as they're still alive, they will keep having new adventures, because they will always get up to some Wacky Antics trademark.

Experience & Skill

Ibis

In terms of experience, Ibis is stacked. He's been a hero for thousands of years, plus the billions of years that he inherited from his time as Absence. He's the strongest being in the Intellectual Poly (Besides the Begetters) and has demonstrated this by easily defeating other gods. He's essentially never had anything to worry about, which is why his skill is very lacking. Ibis is a humongous fish in a really big ocean. Sure he's still big in other places but as soon as he's facing an opponent stronger than him, he has little options at his disposal to gain an advantage. He has lost to other beings for this exact reason.

However that doesn't mean Ibis is totally unskilled, he's mastered the use of his powers, of which he has plenty, and he is able to dodge most attacks thrown at him.

NotSquare & Sally

While NotSquare & Sally aren't exactly book-smart, they are certainly not lacking in Street Smarts, literally, NotSquare claims he was diagnosed with it. They've shown to be extremely quick thinking, like when Sally managed to defeat Snowball by using her TV. That's not the only monster they have defeated, it's certainly the strongest but they have faced many more.

Both of them don't possess any real combat training, but it's not like they need it most of the time, all of their fights usually end with them getting creative with their environment and arsenal. Plus, they have learned a fair share of tricks while they grew up alone.

Equipment

Ibis

Halloween Costume

Happy Halloween

Paper with the number 50 written

For celebratory occasions, like say, for example, reaching 50 days in a daily art challenge

Picture of SCP-096

Looking at it causes SCP-096 to start chasing the person who looked at it. 096 is incredibly tough, it's able to push the sun toward the earth and withstanding the heat from it

Ibis Plush

I used to have this Ibis plushie that I used to pour milk on and suck the milk back out out of it and it was sopping wet all the time. I used to slam it against walls and it would make a loud thud.

My brother saw me suck milk out of it once and I got sad when he made fun of me and I didn't pour milk on it for a week, and it got rock hard and smelly and my mom made me throw it away.

IT WAS SO FUCKING HEAVY I brought it to school one time and my backpack was soaked and I made my friends hold him and they were upset.

Goku's clothes

Gokuversal Ibis

Scythe & Dark World outfit

Yes, Ibis is in Deltarune, Toby Fox himself told me. Scythe's aren't very practical for combat, being gardening tools first and foremost, but with someone as strong as Ibis, those detriments becoming pretty meaningless. This weapon gives him better range, it can pull opponents in, and can both stab and slash with it's sharp edge.

Roaring Knight armor and The Black Knife

Something about nickles and there being two of them. In Deltarune, the Black Knife is capable of "Swooning" an opponent, which basically means they are dead unless someone in the same party uses a Revivemint or some Revivedust. The armor is similarly incredibly tough, being capable of tanking hits from Susie, Kris and Ralsei, who damage the building sized Titan.

Lollipop Axe

This lollipop is stated to be quite effective in combat as well as being made from Ibis' flesh. This should make it just as tough and powerful as Ibis, while also granting a slight range increase. While it doesn't seem capable of cutting given it's appearance, just being a blunt object would make it deadly enough.

Raid

A normal everyday bottle of Raid. From it's appearance it seems to be a 15 oz. bottle. While it is designed to harm bees specifically, bee killer has a number of harmful effects on human beings and other organisms. Some of these effects include: Headaches, dizziness, respiratory problems, skin irritation, nausea, vomiting and more fun little experiences.

Big Numbers

Very big numbers for special occasions, like, for example, celebrating reaching 300 days in a daily art challenge. Comparing them to Ibis they seem to be around 4'7'' feet tall

Banana Costume

Bananaversal

A bucket full of pills

Just a bucket full of pills. While it's not clear what they are exactly, ingestion of any medical drug can cause problems if not regulated, so yeah Ibis can win via spiking someone's drink.

A ton of Vocaloid costumes

For whatever reason, Ibis has a ton of costumes based on popular Vocaloid songs. These don't really grant him any particular power but I had to mention them because there are so many holy shit.

Bee Costume

He became the very thing he swore to destroy

Legendary Artifacts

Idk they felt worth mentioning

Cheese

Ibis' favorite food ever, it works like a sort of power star for him, giving him invincibility for 30 seconds, however it also makes him dumber and dizzier, essentially working like a sugar rush. It can also bring him back from the dead

Mysterious Ibis Cake

A cake Ibis got for celebrating his birthday, it is strong enough to wipe out a universe when cut.
NotSquare & Sally

Halloween Costumes

Happy Halloween everyone

Presidential Pardon

Signed by president Nixon himself.

Chips and Drink

Stolen from some poor sap in the real world

PC and Laptop

Tax payments

A Bomb

It's a bomb.

Bard of Light and Bard of Mind outfits

woahhhahahhhhhoohhh they get homestuck scaling guys this is craycray!!!! Haha no they don't

Baseball Bat

A normal baseball bat, it's pretty tough, being able to withstand hitting an arcade machine and sending it zooming. It also caused a sonic boom.

Brainmelter

Completely melts anyone who sees it. It even melted Snowball, who at that point was a city-sized kaiju.

Cookie Jar

A seemingly normal cookie jar on the inside, however, on closer inspection, you might realize that there is in fact a galaxy inside it. This cosmic jar generates new cookies, meaning it will never run out. In the game Awesome Fuckin' Clicker it is capable of generating an Infinite amount of cookies in just a few seconds.

Air Conditioner

NotSquare and Sally's air conditioner is powerful enough to send all of Wyoming into a second Ice Age.

Pencil and Paper

A potentially magical pen and paper for Sally to write her silly stories.

Spaceship + Asteroids

Don't ask me where he got the spaceship. It can launch 2 meteorites towards earth.

Fireworks

Useful for causing big explosions and escaping prisons. The explosion should be roughly building level given, you know, it blew up a building.

The Demon Core

The Demon Core was a real life weapon created as a prototype for the core of the Atomic Bomb, however due to it's unsafe nature it was scrapped. It is reported to have released 1000 joules of radiation, something completely deadly to most lifeforms.

Unstoppable/Don't Stop Me Now

Yeah, NotSquare has a stand, and it's a very strong one. It destroys any timeline that it seams "detrimental" to NotSquare's development, and since it's, well a stand, it is invisible to non-stand users and can interact with similar beings to it.

Ancient Artifact

An ancient artifact found in an ancient temple. It seemingly summoned a huge monster to protect itself when it was stolen. In Awesome Fuckin' Clicker it is stated to "Convert elder gods into clicks". It produces at least 4000 Infinities worth of clicks.

Death Button

Pretty self explanatory, it kills 2000 people per press, with an upgrade it can kill infinite amounts of people.

Calculator

Probably the strongest tool at their disposal, it's capable of not only destroying the universe, but the whole Wacky Antics cosmology (See Cosmology section). While NotSquare and Sally themselves aren't nearly as tough as the calculator, it serves as a great "last resort" tool if they're ever in danger.

Abilities

Ibis

Ibian Physiology

Ibians are very interesting lifeforms. Even at a glance it's easy to tell how different they are from your average human, they have pale white skin, four fingers and are very short. Ibians usually go through a personalized "puberty" at the age of 13, where they experience changes that they want specifically. Very convenient because, as you may imagine, Ibians don't really like all the changes we undergo during puberty.

At the age of 18, they completely stop aging, and essentially become immortal. Their personality also usually stays at that age, which makes them not the brightest usually, and very bad at handling relationships, I mean, Ibis has been on four.

Their bodies are also very squishy and stretchy, which makes them extremely malleable, and they can change the material and texture they are made of, granting them the ability to become basically anything that they could want.

Outlines

The outlines are Ibis' main power, and they are very interesting. They come from a creature that resides in a place called "Nonexistence" and Ibis' has an infinite supply of them. He can shoot them out of pretty much any body part of his, but he usually uses his wrists to fire them.

They operate similarly to Spider-man's webs or Deku's Black Whip, allowing Ibis to traverse large areas with speed. He can also use them to wrap others and trap them, like how they did to Nerd. They are incredibly long, being able to stretch for miles and they're extremely durable, which allows Ibis to wrap them around him as a sort of shield AS WELL as boost his stats to achieve higher forms.

The creature that gives him his outlines can also pull him into nonexistence if he's in great danger, this does not actually cause you to stop existing, as nonexistence isn't actually a place of things that don't exist, it's more like a place in the middle of that. Actual existence erasure makes you straight up disappear.

Ibis also has the ability to control his own literal outlines, using them instead of the outlines from the creature.

Body Part Ripping

Probably Ibis' most consistent power, he can easily rip apart his arms, legs, body and even head and reattach them no problem. This also seems to leave him completely unharmed, as pictured above. His head is also technically always separated, given that it just floats above his torso, no neck to be found.

Regeneration

Ibis has been shown multiple times to get extremely damaged either from ripping his body parts or turning into dust or becoming a ghost, yet, the next day, he always manages to come back, as if nothing had ever happened to him. Since we can assume the Daily Ibis entries occur in sequential order, it can take him at most one day to regenerate all injuries. His types of regeneration include:

High-Low: The ability to regenerate lost limbs from nothing, this is the most common type of regeneration he's displayed, considering all the times he's ripped his limbs off.
Low-Mid: The ability to regenerate from more deadly injuries, like being split in half, Ibis has displayed this ability multiple times.
Mid: The ability to regenerate from injuries that would typically mean instant death. Technically Ibis is always displaying this ability given he is capable of living while being decapitated 24/7, but the most blatant time is when he just holding his head in his arms.
Mid-High: The ability to regenerate from being turned into ash, dust, or other similar states. Ibis has displayed this when he was just, gone.
Low-Godly: The ability to regenerate from complete destruction of the body, leaving behind only the spirit intact. Ibis has displayed this ability when he turned into a ghost and came back the next day.

Duplication

Ibis has displayed duplication powers in both the drawing above, Looping these Rooms and probably some other time I'm forgetting. He's been shown to be able to multiply up to 16 times in "These Rooms seem like they're Looping..." and while we're not shown how strong these clones are, we can assume they are roughly equal in power to the real Ibis.

Accausality

Pictured above is an image of Ibis meeting a younger version of himself, yet he is completely unaffected by this, no butterfly effects no nothing. Also is it just me or is the older Ibis just really chopped like

Explosion Manipulation

Ibis has shown in numerous occasions to cause objects to suddenly explode. Plus, shaving his head will cause him to immediately explode, it is unknown how powerful that explosion would be but seeing bald Ibis would be bad enough

Shapeshifting

Ibis' shapeshifting is incredibly powerful, he's been able to stretch his limbs, become a loaf, become a dog, extend his face, inflate his head like a balloon, and even turn into a huge being over 16x the size of earth.

He can also manipulate his hair, making it bigger, smaller, or straight up getting covered by it.

Fourth Wall Interaction

Ibis talks to the viewer multiple times, and even tries to "get them" as pictured above

Reality Warping

Ibis can change the artstyle that he's drawn in

Real World Manipulation

He's real

Political Powers

He has em.

Resistances

Existence Erasure: Ibis is stated to resist existence erasure from everyone EXCEPT for the Begetters
Transmutation: This one is debatable, but when Ibis was turned into a Snowman, he simply returned the next day, meaning that he likely resists it
Cold temperatures: He can resist being outside in winter while being technically naked

NotSquare & Sally

Incompetentian Physiology

As Incompetentians, NotSquare and Sally have extremely heightened durability and physicality, they are able to endure way more than the typical human should be able to and their strength isn't that far behind either. However, there is a consequence to this, that being they have a terribly low IQ, this isn't a 100% guarantee for every single incompetentian, but it is quite common.

Incompetentians don't have many other particular attributes that makes them distinct from humans, they are just normal, average, everyday people.

Regeneration

NotSquare was completely vaporized by the demon core, and yet despite that, he managed to come back afterwards. It is also possible he possesses higher tiers of regeneration, since he was watching the Brainmelter, but it's no guarantee.

Shapeshifting

Both NotSquare and Sally have demonstrated the ability to extend their body parts to a comical degree

Object Creation

NotSquare and Sally can randomly create objects out of thin air

Explosion Manipulation

NotSquare and Sally can cause sudden explosions that can destroy planes

Resurrection

NotSquare and Sally both have 3 lives respectively and can replenish them with the Extra Chance and W Chance upgrades.

Luck Manipulation

In Unicorns and Daisies, Sally is said to be luckier than other playable characters, and NotSquare can have a random luck from -5 to 5.

4th Wall Interaction & Real World Manipulation

They are real

Conceptual Manipulation

NotSquare and Sally "own" the concept of a nickel. This isn't really expanded on and is a very vague statement, but there is no real reason for NotSquare to lie about something like that.

Plot Manipulation

Everything Sally writes becomes reality. This can be something as simple as creating a zombie virus to opening rifts in space and creating 11 Dimensional Clowns.

Resistances

Radiation:Sally was able to completely no-sell the demon core's 1000 joules of radiation, and given that the demon core doesn't produce a "regular" explosion, this isn't a durability feat, they also cannot be hurt by John's radiation energy.
Plot Manipulation: NotSquare and Sally are "disconnected from the Narrative", the Narrative being a force that pushes destiny towards a given path, however, NotSquare and Sally are both uncontained by it.
Extreme Temperatures: NotSquare and Sally can survive both in space and be next to explosions.
Pain: NotSquare and Sally seemingly never feel pain.

Forms

Ibis

Fursona

Ibis canonically enjoys to partake the act of dressing up in a fursuit. His fursona's design isn't the most consistent thing ever, but it is usually a dog-like creature

Egg Form

He turned into an egg

Horse

Neigh

Super Sayain

With this transformation, Ibis can multiply his power level by 50x

Upsetbis (No Canon Name)

A form that Ibis achieves when he feels extremely emotionally unstable. While this form gives a great boost in power, it is also uncontrollable.

Ultrabis

Ibis perfected, when this form is achieved, Ibis reaches a whole new level of power. This form is way more durable than base Ibis and Upset Ibis. While in this form, Ibis gains omniscience, being able to know everything at all times. However, this all comes at a cost, it exposes a weak spot in his abdomen, and if it's destroyed, Ibis not only loses the form, but all of his powers all together.

NotSquare & Sally

None notable (They are perfect as is)

Support

Ibis

The Alternate Ibians, Satya, Aifurel, Tenebri, Ibis Jr and Phoebe

Frankly, none of Ibis' support is THAT notable, he is FAR stronger than all of them and so are NotSquare and Sally. I guess it's useful to outnumber the siblings 7:1?

His best support in terms of power is by far Ibia, as she scales to him.

No, NotSquare is not counter here as support.

NotSquare & Sally

Snowball

The sibling's cute pet. It can absorb pretty much anything as long as it's smaller than him. He started off smaller than a foot tall, however can grow up to 225 meters long. However, he does have a weakness to being melted. When he did, he destroyed an entire town (365 thousand megatons of TNT) and moved the sun. In Awesome Fuckin’ Clicker it can generate infinite clicks via the Evolve Further upgrade.

The Voice

In the game Unicorns and Daisies, NotSquare and Sally can be assisted by The Voice in the games Arcade Mode. She's probably some of the strongest support they could ask for. It created the 4th Plane of Reality (See Cosmology) and provides them with a ton of useful hax.

Scaling

Ibis

Ibis should reasonably scale to every single character in the Nerd-Verse, he is repeatedly stated to be the strongest in it.

Other Nerd-Verse Characters

There's nothing. No seriously, so far Ibis has performed every single feat from his franchise.

Friday Night Funkin'

  • Boyfriend tosses a controller and breaks a window.
  • Boyfriend tosses Girlfriend
  • Boyfriend catches Girlfriend
  • Pico survives an explosion that destroyed a house
  • Pico survives an explosion that went through the earth (2.66 Zettatons to 12.9 Ronnatons)
  • Steve reacts to cannon fire (Mach 1.629-Mach 2.567)

NotSquare & Sally

NotSquare and Sally should reliably scale to every "non godlike" character in the verse, so basically, everyone excluding for The Voice, The Mind, and Sirius

The Sirius-Verse

  • Terry Belle has reacts to meteors (Mach 30 - Mach 70)
  • Terry Belle survives getting hit by said meteor (City Block level)
  • The Creative arrived to earth from a couple hundred galaxies away in "about a week or so" (521 Billion c)
  • Square Guy survived the end of his original universe
  • Elf Hand can be pelted with Christmas ornaments

  • Toiletman and Gobblin can move through the entire building in an instant
  • The Toiletman can make sounds that can be heard across the entire building
  • All of them can endure electric shocks
  • Man can.... do nothing...

Cosmology

Ibis

Universes

Okay so, this cosmology has a lot of very weird, very illogical scaling, but this is the most basic explanation. We know that there's not only the main universe, but also the universes for the 9 other alternate universes. While he hasn't shown up in Daily Ibis, there is also another Ibis variant called Omnibis, who of course lives in his own universe. Given that the Hopeful is a What If scenario, that adds another universe to the mix. And finally, there's Nerd's other universes, the Luscious Lemonade universe and it's 2 possible timelines, as well as the Rotten Syndicate universe. Oh also the Friday Night Funkin' universe.

We've also been told that there are 2 afterlives, heaven and hell so that adds 2 more universes. So far there area total of 18 universes. Anyways it's also been stated that there is an infinite amount of universes and multiverses within the Nerd-Verse so this was all pointless actually I just wasted your time because I wasted my time researching this character.

Dimensions

Nonexistence is said to be a transcendant plane that The Begetters control. It is a place where beings are put in a state of not existing, but it's not existance erasure, something can be pulled out of Nonexistence no problem, it's how Ibis can get pulled into it no problem. Ibis is also said to have his own personal dimension that he can control, so in conclusion, this should scale at around 7D (Or Complex Multiversal).

NotSquare & Sally

Universes

The Wacky Antics comics don't really offer us much context on the size and scope of the multiverse, but we can use some clues to vaguely assume how expansive they are. Given that NotSquare, Sally, Terry and Samantha all interact with eachother, they all live within the same universe, however, the same does not go for characters like Square Guy and Elf Guy. This means that this multiverse has at least 3 universes. However we can take this even further.

In the game "Awesome Fuckin' Clicker", the player can buy several different items, including universes. A single universe can generate an infinite amount of clicks, and since we can indefinetly buy a universe, we can also easily say that these are indeed infinite in size. The "Multiverse" upgrade adds another universe on the screen, and since it can endlessly purchased without any limit, we could also assume there are an infinite amount of universes as well. So, this should scale the cosmology to Muliversal+ at least.

Dimensions (And Wyoming)

For starters, since Wyoming is an extra-dimensional concept, this should already place this cosmology at 5D. In the comic "Sally writes a 521 page novel", she summons the "11Dimensional Clowns", and since both the Void and Emerald Void transcend dimensions, there are at least 13 dimensions. In the game "Awesome Fuckin' Clicker", there is also a "Dimension" upgrade, and again, it can be bought indefinetly, since universes are a different upgrade, there is no question that this is just dimensionality. The game also features 3 different "Transcendances", these are the Void, the Emerald Void, and the Lavander Void. This means our cosmology so far is InfiniteD to High Outerversal (3 Layers).

The Voice's realm/The 4th plane of reality

The game "Unicorns and Daisies" explicitly takes place in "The 4th Plane of Reality". We don't know a lot about this place other than it's the place where The Voice lives and where The Mind (aka, The Player) plays the games "Unicorns and Daisies" and "Awesome Fuckin' Clicker". However, this place also features it's own "pocket dimension" in the form of, the building. The Building is the location where The Mind fends off the Toiletman, the Gobblin, the Abomination, the Test and Man. The Building is not only alive, but also "less real" than The Voice and The Mind, as both of them view it as fiction. This should place the 4th plane at High Outerversal (4 Layers).

The Real World

Hey you, yeah you, do you think NotSquare and Sally are fictional? If so, congrats! You're now officially part of the Sirius-verse cosmology. The Mind is the player, it's not a representation, or a stand-in, it's straight up you. And you have complete control over the reality and the narrative of this Omniverse. At any moment, you could simply decide to close your computer and then, all of it ceases to exist until you decide to look back at it again. You're the highest reality that can exist, nothing can surpass you, you are truly the top dog here, you alone make this place High Outerversal (5 Layers)...

Anyways so do NotSquare and Sally scale to this?

Short Answer

No.

Slightly Less Short Answer

They don't scale to it fully but they scale to part of it.

Long Answer

While the siblings have never shown to be on par with The Mind, the closest thing to that could be being comparable to it via being playable in the Arcade Mode in "Unicorns and Daisies", however this is some extremely flimsy scaling. HOWEVER, remember the calculator? That managed to destroy the Void, and as we previously established, that reached Outerversal levels, not only do NotSquare and Sally still have that, but they tanked it's explosion while seemingly no one else did. So, their durability should be obscenely high, but as for their AP and DC? Not so much. They have never shown to be able to destroy this Void, in fact they needed the calculator to do so. So in the end, NotSquare and Sally don't scale to the full cosmology, but they scale to part of it.

In conclusion, what the fuuuuuuck man.

Weaknesses

Ibis

Honestly, physically speaking, Ibis doesn't have any weaknesses. He's super strong, super fast, super tough, and he has a ton of powers at his disposal. However, while he may be tough, his intelligence leaves MUCH to be desired. Despite being thousands of years old, his maturity has been permanently stuck at 18. He is very bad at actually fighting at his level, and sometimes even below his level. He often likes to LOWER his own power for the sake of fun, and while this isn't that big of a deal considering his strength, someone with enough skill could definitely take him out.

NotSquare & Sally

Much like Ibis, their physical weaknesses are negligible at best, sure their strength isn't as high as their durability, but their tools more than make up for that. However, they are certainly not smart at all, even factoring Miitopia, that just makes them skilled at making explosives and handling swords, no actual useful knowledge against people who can break universes. And while their bond is certainly strong, it's not unbreakable, they are willing to let the other die if it means self preservation.

Before the Verdict...

The Hopeful

Long story short, eh kinda.

If you aren't aware, The Hopeful is a hypothetical "What If" future, where Ibis gains access to "Hope". When he does, this gives him a pretty big upscale. It's stated he's stronger than the Begetters AND to be Outerversal. The entire Nerd omniverse also resides in his body.

This seems like a really useful form, so why wasn't it mentioned before? Well, it IS a what if, so it's canonicity is debatable. While Nerd22_2 has said you can decide which future is actually canon, which does kind of imply this can happen, it's not something he has done before. Accessing hope is extremely tough, and Ibis being capable of somehow learning it mid fight is questionable, but he is the best hero of all time, so who's to say he can't achieve this form?

So basically, while it isn't something he has done before, it is likely that he can access this form during the fight. Think of it like Super Sayain Bardock.

Now let's get onto how difficult it would be to access this form.

First of, it's an insane upscale, going from Complex Multiversal to Outerversal is a pretty big jump, and all of that just via hope, which he, at least during most of the story, is unable to access. Other Nerd-Verse characters have also achieved hope, but it was never a jump in power this big, so either Hope simply powers up Ibis more than it does to others, or this form requires more hope than usual. For this blog, we will assume the former is correct, so yes, Outerversal Ibis is kinda valid. Luckily this is the only case of outerversal Ibis right?

OUTERVERSAL BASE IBIS

Yes, you heard me right! There is a genuine argument for outerversal base Ibis. Now you may be asking, literally fucking how, I don't recall a single instance of Ibis transcending an infinite amount of dimensions. Well luckily, that's not the only way to achieve outerversal status. One could, for example, interact with their own world as if it were fiction. Very interesting!

There are several examples of Ibis breaking the fourth wall but we don't care about those, what is very important is two seemingly random Daily Ibis entries: Daily Ibis 45 and Daily Ibis 150. In both of these, someone else manages to take over Daily Ibis, however Ibis promptly stops them. This kind of implies that Ibis himself handles Daily Ibis in someway, he probably even posts some of them. What this means is that this pine tree hair dumbass can just interact with us, aka people who SEE HIM AS FICTION. You may agree or not with this point, but this is my blog and I'm using it fuck you.

Verdict

Stats

Power between the both parties is pretty clear cut. While NotSquare and Sally have demonstrated incredible feats of power, such as splitting the moon, which would require around 30.000 Teratons of TNT, but not only is it lesser than Pico surviving an explosion that blew a hole in the earth, Ibis, and subsequently the Mysterious Ibis Cake, being capable of destroying the entire universe puts him far above what the two siblings have displayed before. Even using higher ends like NotSquare and Sally preventing the universe from destroying itself, the ibian is could go even further beyond by scaling to the Fleshfallen cosmology or if you buy the Outerversal Ibis argument.

But this all gets a tad more complicated when bringing up, The Calculator. At literally all ends, the Calculator's effects and by consequence, the durability of the Incompetentians, is much, MUCH higher than Ibis' strength feats. A low end for the calculator (12Dimensional) is much higher than both Ibis' low ends and high ends (Universal and 7D respectively). Using the highest possible power for both, they reach Outerversal levels, so that means that they're even I suppose. So while the calculator is often much stronger, Ibis has a similar peak.

However, speed is a much, MUCH different story. At their finite ends, Ibis is capable of moving 2 to 3 miles in 1/24th of a second, without even visibly moving. This feat should be around Mach 169, AKA high hyper-sonic levels of speed. But NotSquare and Sally reaching the sun in a second should at be at the very least 4,990 times faster than light, over 25 billion times faster than Ibis. At higher ends, Ibis could cross an infinite distance within a limited amount of time, a feat that would require an unlimited amount of speed. NotSquare and Sally are capable of moving in a place without time, completely immeasurable speed, which is indeed faster than infinite speed, it's complicated. Even if you don't buy that, the calculator at least should be capable of destroying the universe in 1/12th of a second, which would require 177 Trillion c to Immeasurable levels of speed, which would be uh...8.642643e+17 times faster at a low end and immeasurably faster at a high end.

So while Ibis should be comparable to NotSquare and Sally in durability, and does in fact take a physical strength advantage by an infinitely huge margin, the siblings should be at least 25 billion times faster at their low ends, and immeasurably faster at their peak.

Arsenal & Abilities

For their arsenals, the Ibian had plenty of incredibly useful objects, such as his cheese, which could make him completely invulnerable and stronger for 30 seconds as well as bringing him back from the dead, or his lollipop axe, which was just as durable and strong as he was. But the Incompetentians had not only higher quantity of lethal weaponry, but also higher overall quality. Stuff like the Ancient Artifact could transform NotSquare and Sally into clicks. While you may think that Ibis' shapeshifting could counter this, it's very clear that click transmutation is much, much more complex than that. It's not just "getting transformed into an object", it's quite literally getting transformed into a concept, a number, Ibis has never shown shapeshifting out of that.

But their abilities were a bit more tricky to decide. Because for starters, we need to ask a very important question, which is...

Can NotSquare and Sally even kill him?

Short answer, yes, yes they can. Slightly less short answer, yes but it would be really difficult for them to figure it out. And now, time for the long answer. Unsuprisingly, the calculator was their best bet, it's an infinite range AoE attack that Ibis can't just tank, and while he could theoretically regenerate from this, not only would this take too long, but also he has no place to "respawn" properly, since literally every possible point in space he could be in would be gone. But, let's say that we ignore the calculator, do they have any other way to kill him? Well yes, actually.

For starters, they have multiple ways of interacting with ghosts, so they could very well destroy his body with the Ancient Artifact, or, again, the calculator, and then use Don't Stop Me Now to beat him to death, or even use support from The Voice (more on that later) to reap his soul. If you wanna argue that these would actually be invalid because Ibis can reality warp them away, NotSquare and Sally's plot manipulation has shown to be way more potent and much more deadly.

In conclusion, while on the surface it may seem like Ibis has more useful powers, the sibling's quantity, quality and variety give them the edge in arsenal and abilities.

Tertiary Factors

So you know how so far this matchup has been pretty even so far? Well take that neat little debate, and throw it out the window because now The Voice is helping the idiots. The Voice is vastly stronger than literally anything that anyone in the battlefield has ever shown, she massively outclasses Ibis, the calculator and the alternate reality Ibians whilst also completely flipping the numbers advantage. It goes from a 7:1 to an Infinity to 1. The skill category was already very grim for Ibis, but add The Voice, who managed to figure out how to create her own plane of reality, it gets even worse for him.

All of the things that it can give the siblings are also a massive advantage, that 50x multiplier from the SSJ transformation isn't gonna be that useful when your opponent gets a 32,767x multiplier. Ibis would also be completely unable to even touch them if they use the Divine Shield I or II, could get his power completely nullified, or get transformed into clicks. Even if he SOMEHOW manages to kill them, they will just revive at perfect health and kill the extremely weakened Ibis.

Now, you may be asking, "what about the Hopeful", and to that I say WHAT about the Hopeful? He gets completely outstat and has in fact LESS powers than Ultrabis! The Hopeful is pretty much the potential man of this debate.

So in the end, NotSquare and Sally take the edge in skill and support by a WIDE margin.

Conclusion

Ibis

"If you're reading this, your balls will explode on May 8th 2025"

Advantages:

  • Considerably stronger physically at all ends
  • The Cheese was a great defensive option
  • Regeneration was tricky to work around...
  • Heavily outnumbered with support...
  • Could use his reality warping to remove most of NotSquare and Sally's arsenal...
  • Considerable advantage in experience...
  • Ultrabis is easily the most auraful thing in the battlefield

Disadvantages:

  • WAY slower than the siblings and their weapons
  • Less skilled
  • Way worse arsenal and abilities overall
  • ...but could still get bypassed
  • ...but said support was relatively weak in comparison...
  • ...and as soon as The Voice showed up the number advantage flipped
  • ...but their plot manipulation countered
  • ...until The Voice showed up
  • The Hopeful is easily the biggest bum in the battlefield

NotSquare & Sally

"We got... 2 cents, 5 breadcrumbs and the concept of a nickel"

"Man, if only there was a way to get rich with little effort... I'M A BOMB"

Advantages:

  • Vastly superior arsenal all around the board
  • WAY faster, both physically and weapons wise
  • Plot manipulation completely fucked up Ibis
  • Had several methods to bypass Ibis' regeneration
  • Better support thanks to The Voice
  • More skilled
  • Upgrades made it so that Ibis couldn't even touch them
  • Had ways to nullify Ibis' powers
  • Will likely get more and more content in less time than Ibis

Disadvantages:

  • Considerably weaker physically
  • Less experienced
  • Broke asses, terrorists, scammers, omniciders, just horrible people all around
  • Support merchants

While neither party was gonna give up easy, NotSquare and Sally's arsenal, speed and ungodly support gave them the edge they needed to teach the Ibian how they do it back on earth. Looks like Ibis should've not squared-up, and sadlly, his fall was inevitable.

The Winners are NotSquare and Sally
